A/N: whoops, done. Which I find kind of amazing, actually. Though, I need use a lovely excuse, 'cause that took some time. And, well, whoops, I'm pretty far away from home, with questionable Internet. ^^ But, still, YAAAY~ \(^u^)/ now, what's gonna happen next~

( Chapter 1) ( Chapter 2) ( Chapter 3) ( Chapter 4)

*

Yifan glances at Minseok, who is standing a few meters away and still talking with Woohyun and that lovely woman that is the director of Jongin's orphanage. Well, Jongin's former orphanage. The orphanage that Jongin was at. Because he's not anymore. He hasn't been for a few minutes as of now.

Because for the few minutes, Jongin has been Minseok and Yifan's child and from now on he'll keep on being one.

Yifan glances at Jongin, still only partly getting that he's officially a parent now, that Jongin is theirs and the three of them are family now. He's not sure how to react, what to do, whether to be smiling or cheering or to be calm but still happy. Yifan just doesn't know anything.

He doesn't seem to be the only one confused and torn about the right thing to do, as Jongin is glancing around, too. He has this little, shy smile on his face, but his eyes are wide and unsure, as if he's afraid it might turn out to be just a joke.

Yifan keeps on looking at Jongin for a moment, considering whether he should or not. Because, well, that might be too sudden, too fast and Jongin might get scared a little. On the other hand, Yifan is sure he might be over-thinking things.

Jongin is his son now (the thought alone makes Yifan's heart skip a beat), he shouldn't be freaking out so badly.

Yifan notices Jongin glancing up at him and finally decides to do something. He smiles and then only grins wider, when he sees the little, cute smile Jongin gives him as the answer.

Yifan takes a deep breath and holds out his hand to Jongin. The boy looks at it surprised, then back at Yifan and again at the hand. After a few seconds, he slowly raises his hand and hesitantly takes Yifan's.

They don't notice it, too engrossed with each other, but Minseok, Woohyun and the director of the orphanage are watching Yifan and Jongin as they're grinning at each other and squeezing their hands and Jongin is trying to pull Yifan towards himself and failing and he pouts, because it's not fair how big Yifan is.

Minseok couldn't be happier with such a sight of his family.

*

A few minutes into the ride Minseok keeps glancing at his husband and at Jongin, while the man is driving carefully and the boy is looking at his knees.

Minseok blinks, not happy with how awkward it's being.

He actually starts tapping his fingers on his thigh, not sure what to do with himself, when he looks into the window and notices a lovely, yellow building.

"Jonginnie, look." Minseok turns to the back and points to the side. "It's the kindergarten you'll be going to. The yellow thing." He smiles.

Jongin looks into the window and smiles shyly. The place seems like a really nice place, he's sure it'll be awesome. Though, it means lots of new people and he's nervous, he's not good with new people, especially when there are many. He guesses at kindergartens there are many.

Minseok is still watching Jongin glued to the window and looking at the building and as it's becoming smaller, smaller and then disappears. On the other hand, Yifan is watching them both, appreciating Minseok's tries and wondering what to do to help Jongin to become less shy with them. There aren't many things he can do, though, being in a car and all, so after thinking a moment, Yifan turns on the radio.

It seems to be a good idea, because Minseok perks up at the current song, which is one of Park Jinyoung's. The man likes the guy's music a lot, used to dance to the songs often, so he can't help, but grin the second he hears that.

"Jonginnie, do you know this song?" Minseok turns around to face the boy again, already not being able to sit still.

"I don't." He shakes his head, but a little smile is staring to appear on his face. "It's a nice one," Jongin adds after a moment, obviously enjoying it.

Minseok beams, hearing the boy likes the song.

"I performed with this song once." He's moving even more at this point, as much as sitting and being buckled up lets him. He makes lots of hands movement and his feet move a lot, too.

Jongin is watching the adult with fascination of sorts.

"Really?" He smiles, but he doesn't doubt that, the song really sounds like it could be fun to dance to.

Watching the two, Yifan can't help but grin as well, feeling more than possibly happy with his family.

*

Not long later the three are walking home, Jongin between the two men, each of his hand holding one of the men's, a little happy smile on his face.

At this point he's feeling actually awed. As he's walking and watching everything around him, observing the new place he's going to live in, he also keeps glancing at both men. It's really mind-blowing, the fact that these two awesome people are his dads now. The thought of him having parents is amazing in itself, but even with these few weeks of having known the men, it's still difficult to believe they want him.

Both men catch him glancing at them, but they don't seem to mind, just smiling at him, which makes him feel all nice and happy.

"Here," Minseok says, pointing at a building in front of them. "Here is where we three live."

Jongin squeezes the man's hand, hearing three. It just doesn't stop being amazing to him.

So he focuses more on observing the building and then the inside, the number Yifan chooses in the elevator, how long it takes for the elevator to make a ding sound. He watches the doors they pass by and then there's one they stand in front of.

"Our apartment," Yifan says, smiling, as Minseok takes out a key with his free hand and unlocks the door.

Jongin holds in a breath, when the man opens the door and they can walk in. Except-

"Surprise!"

A shout is heard and it's followed by a really loud noise.

Jongin squeals and steps back, letting go of the men's hands to embrace Minseok and hide his face in the man's tummy.

Both men panic seeing the boy like this and turn their heads to glare at whatever is happening inside the apartment.

And what is happening is something that was kind of planned: to welcome Jongin into their weird family. Chanyeol, Tao and Baekhyun were really excited to plan the welcoming party, to surprise Jongin with a happy yell. That was what Minseok and Yifan agreed for. But they knew nothing of the loud exploding confetti thing that Chanyeol is holding at the moment.

"H-hyung?" Chanyeol manages weakly, staring in panic at Jongin.

Minseok glares at the man some more, which only scaries Chanyeol more, because angry Minseok is scary Minseok, and then squats down to focus on Jongin and calming him down.

"Jonginnie?" he whispers worriedly, wanting the boy to look at him.

Jongin does and Minseok's heart breaks a little seeing tears streaming down the boy's face.

"Jonginnie, it's okay," he continues quietly as inside the apartment everyone keeps to watch them. "It's only Chanyeol. He's a dumba- he's silly. He has silly ideas."

Jongin blinks through the tears.

"Chanyeol?" he whispers.

"Yeah. We showed you the pictures and he was in many of them," Minseok reminds.

Jongin nods, because he remembers and looks behind. He sees Minseok and Yifan's friends and among them there's the one Jongin remembers to be Chanyeol, who is looking at him with wide, scared eyes and a sad pout.

Meanwhile, when Jongin looks at him and he sees the tears on the boy's face, Chanyeol feels like the guilt hits him just straight in the face. And then Luhan actually hits him on the back of his head at which Chanyeol can only blink sadly.

Jongin turns back to Minseok and nods.

"Better now?" Yifan asks, squatting next to the two, and gently wipes Jongin's tears with his thumbs.

Jongin nods again, smiling shyly.

"Good." Yifan caresses Jongin's hair. "If something weird happens again, tell us." He smiles and stands up.

Minseok stands up, too, Jongin's hand still in his.

"Let's go in."

Jongin takes a deep breath and finally walks into the apartment, the two men following and still glaring at pouting Chanyeol.

Jongin is feeling nervous at the moment, as he's surrounded by his new parents' friends and hoping they'll like him. But he doesn't have much time to worry as he only manages to take his shoes off, when two boys his age approach him, both smiling at him like they like him already.

"I'm Baekhyun," one of the boys says, grinning cheerfully and Jongin can't help but smile back shyly. "And he's Kyungsoo." He points at the second boy, who smiles a little bit less cheerfully, but there's something really, really adorable about the smile and Jongin can't help but feel kind of fond of the boy already.

"I'm Jongin," he says shyly, even though he's sure they already know that.

"We know," Baekhyun says just what Jongin was thinking and chuckles. Then Jongin suddenly feels little arms embracing him and, okay, so maybe there really was no reason to worry, he thinks as he embraces the boy back.

Baekhyun lets go of Jongin after a moment, still grinning at him, so he glances at the other boy, curious if he'll do the same.

Kyungsoo doesn't, though, he just steps a bit closer and pats Jongin's hair, which he finds really adorable, the way Kyungsoo is just more cautious than Baekhyun.

"It's nice to finally meet you," Kyungsoo says, still smiling cutely and Jongin tries to control the silly grin from appearing on his face.

"We're twins," Baekhyun adds and Jongin gasps hearing that, because, really, the boys seem to be so different. Baekhyun notices the boy's reaction and chuckles, while Kyungsoo smiles cheekily, also amused by that.

"And I'm Luhan, the twins' dad," Luhan says, squeating next to his kids and smiling at Jongin.

The boy smiles back shyly and bows a bit.

And suddenly there's a hand on his head, patting his hair.

"I'm Tao." A new guy appears, grinning at him. "And he's Sehunnie." He turns to the guy standing next to him, who smiles softly. Jongin notices the two holding hands and glancing at each other.

"Jonginnie," a new voice says behind Jongin, so he turns around and sees the guy he knows to be Chanyeol. He's still pouting and blinking at Jongin with wide eyes.

"I want to apologize to you. For the confetti thing," Chanyeol continues. "Here. For you." He holds out a cupcake.

Jongin blinks at the cupcake and smiles. It's a pretty one, all yellow with colorful dots on it. He shyly takes the sweet.

"Thank you."

"Are we okay now?" Chanyeol asks carefully.

Jongin nods energetically, because, of course, they're okay, they've never been not okay, Jongin wasn't mad about the thing. And cupcakes always make everything better, even if there's nothing wrong.

"Good," Chanyeol says and grins cheerfully and Jongin gasps again, because that's a totally different expression and aura from what he was seeing for the few previous minutes.

"Okay, appa apologized, so let's go." Baekhyun suddenly appears next to Jongin and, looking all determined, takes his hand.

"Where?" Jongin asks carefully. He doesn't want Baekhyun to be annoyed with him or something.

"To your room, of course." Baekhyun grins and Jongin nods. He really likes how cheerful the boy is. And then he gasps, because, did Baekhyun say your room? As in, Jongin's room? As in Jongin gets to have his own room? Like, he knew he'd be moving here and all, but, wow, it feels so unreal that Jongin can't help but beam at Baekhyun a little and then at his parents(!), too.

So Baekhyun is happy with Jongin's reaction and starts dragging the younger boy to his room, while Jongin keeps grinning preciously.

He glances back, too, as Baekhyun's leading him through the room, and sees Kyungsoo right behind him and all the adults following.

*

"Here you go." Baekhyun opens the door and lets Jongin in first.

The boy walks inside and stops, looking all around. He gets all wide-eyed and open-mouthed and with no idea what or even how to say anything.

"And how do you like it?" Kyungsoo asks as along with his brother they go in the room. They look at the boy for a moment, not sure what to do with his reaction.

Slightly worried, Minseok and Yifan following them inside next, wanting to make sure Jongin's okay; Minseok worried in the end it was much too much Pororo and Yifan just plainly worried his decorating abilities and senses might've not worked out this time.

"Jonginnie?" Minseok asks carefully, crouching next to the boy.

Jongin blinks, hearing his name, and turns to look at Minseok for a few seconds, still blinking. Then he throws himself at the man and hugs him tightly.

"It's so, so, so awesome!" he mumbles into Minseok's neck, squeezing tighter. "The best!" he adds.

Because, really, Jongin has never seen more awesome room. All the Pororo stuff and lots of it and the room is so colorful and the plush dolls on his bed seem so fluffy and on the cabinet(???) he sees shelves with a few dvd cases with anime and on the other shelf there are a few mangas and Jongin doesn't really read well, but he'll learn, he'll learn everything and he'll be the best son Minseok and Yifan could ever imagine.

Minseok loves the hug very much and can't help himself from pecking the boy's hair a few times. Then he glances up and at Yifan, who's looking at his husband and son with a delighted smile and Minseok can only make the man happier.

"But, you know, it's Yifannie who decorated your room," he says, when Jongin loosens up the hug a little bit.

Jongin blinks at him and lets go. He turns around to look at Yifan and opens up his arm to the man, wanting a hug.

Yifan bits down on his lower lip softly, to stop his smile from becoming ridiculous and crouches down to hug Jongin, embracing the boy tightly and loving Jongin's warmth and how suddenly he's got two favorite people in the world to love and protect and make amazingly happy.

"Thank you," Jongin murmurs shyly and loosens the hug. He looks at Yifan for a moment, thinking, and then quickly pecks his cheek, afterwards looking away and hoping it was okay.

At the sudden peck, Yifan is pretty sure he's melting from how adorable his son is. Minseok feels pretty much the same, watching his two favorite people in the world being lovely together.

*

After some time full of Jongin watching and finding new stuff (mostly Pororo themed), it is decided that the time for food finally has come. The boy can probably spend days figuring out all the new things, so Minseok and Yifan agree he might make a little break.

The food time hasn't come just like that, though, it's not just a randomly chosen moment, nope. It's when Sehun, Tao, Luhan and Chanyeol are finished their task of putting all the food out on the table and it looking nicely (which is why it took more time than it could've, some not agreeing with others about what's nice and what is not).

It's actually pretty easy to convince Jongin to take a break for food. He's been grinning all the time, happy and excited about new everything, so he's pretty much up for anything. And who could say no to food, especially if the cupcake from before is anything to go by.

And, yeah, when Jongin comes into the room and sees the table with various foods on it, his excitation level grows. It's all awesome and pretty and he can't help to drag Yifan who's still holding the boy's hand towards the table, so Jongin can look closer at all the pretty food.

There are even some foods that he's seeing for the first time.

"What's this?" Jongin asks, pointing at something and glancing up at Yifan.

Except it's Tao, who appears next to the two and he's grinning.

"I brought this thing, Jonginnie," he says excitedly and then proceeds to tell about the dish, which has Jongin blinking at the man a lot, because of all the Chinese that he's hearing for the first time and has no understanding of.

Listening to Tao only for a few first moments, Yifan rolls his eyes. He glances at confused Jongin and as lovely as the boy looks, it's probably enough, he doesn't need to know all that, it's nothing necessary for a five years old mind.

So Yifan raises his hand up and pokes Tao's cheek. It actually works, because Tao stops midsentences and frowns at Yifan, who chuckles.

"Let's sit and eat, Jonginnie." Yifan smiles at Jongin and leads the boy towards a chair, ignoring Tao glaring at him.

Jongin only nods happily.

*

About thirty minutes later Minseok and Yifan are delightedly watching their son. It's really heartwarming, even if Jongin is just eating another cupcake happily while Baekhyun is telling him a story about something that was happening in the kindergarten the othey day. Jongin keeps laughing and chuckling, which only gets Baekhyun more enthusiastic, except he hasn't noticed yet that there's Kyungsoo making funny faces at Jongin behind his twin's back.

It's really a precious sight.

Minseok is still watching, when Yifan pokes his arm and points subtly at Luhan who's sitting next to them and watching the kids as well. Minseok raises his brow at Yifan, not sure what his husband wants.

"Luhan," Yifan starts pretty seriously.

Luhan doesn't hear, too engrossed with chuckling at Kyungsoo and his weird faces.

"Luhan?" Yifan tries again and pokes the man. This time it works and Luhan turns to look at Yifan, still grinning.

"Yeah?" he asks, beaming at Yifan.

Yifan frowns a little bit, because that wasn't really how he imagined things going.

"You know how you're dating Chanyeol and all, right?" Yifan says slowly. Luhan nods, the grin still on his face. "Well, I just wanted to say that if you ever hurt Chanyeol, I will-" Yifan cuts off for a moment, thinking. At that point Luhan is looking at Yifan all wide-eyed and confused while Minseok is just feeling quite amused by how the talk is turning out.

"I will hurt you, too. A little bit. Not too much. Because, you know, the twins and all." Yifan finishes, frowning at himself. That really wasn't supposed to be this way.

"Oh, okay." Luhan nods. "I won't," he says.

Yifan is looking at Luhan while he's saying that and he thinks he believes, because the words are followed by Luhan glancing over at Chanyeol, who's telling some embarrassing story about Tao, who's trying to stop him and failing, to Sehun who's laughing really hard at this point. Luhan's look turns all mushy and loving and Yifan can say, with very little modesty, it's how Minseok looks at him sometimes. It's also how he's seen Tao looking at Sehun, when he thinks nobody's paying attention to him.

Yifan nods to himself and thinks for a moment. Then he claps his hands and stands up.

"Sehun doesn't have kids!" he says to himself excitedly and goes towards the said man while Minseok and Luhan are looking after him both confused and amused.

"What he said, though. Kind of," Minseok says, patting Luhan's hand lightly. The other man looks at him and nods. Then they both keep watching how Yifan walks over to Sehun, grabs his arm and with a short "Borrowing" to Tao and Chanyeol, Yifan drags the man away.

"Will he be okay?" Luhan asks. He likes Sehun a lot already, even though they've known each other shortly. But he's known Yifan only a few weeks longer, so he's not sure whether or not to be worried. Or maybe whom to worry about.

"Yeah, I guess," Minseok answers lightly. Luhan glances at him, the words not seeming very confident.

*

As Sehun is dragged towards the bathroom, he can't really do nothing else but to wave at Tao and Chanyeol, feeling sorry that the story is cut short. That was a really awesome one and he wants to know how it finished.

Sehun only keeps on being confused as Yifan pushes him inside the bathroom, walks in there himself and kind of pushes him against the door.

Then Yifan just puts one hand next to Sehun's head and glares at him from very, very close.

Sehun can only blink at the man.

They don't really say anything for a while, Yifan glaring and Sehun staring wide-eyed and confused.

Because, really, Sehun is seriously confused at the moment. Because Tao has been saying how lovely and precious Yifan is, how nice of a hyung, how he helped Tao and took care of him, when Tao came to Korea and knew next to nothing.

And this Yifan that Sehun is looking at at the moment doesn't seem very precious and nice.

"You!" Yifan growls.

Sehun blinks.

"If you ever try to break Tao's heart, I will break your dick."

Sehun blinks harder.

"Oh," slips out. So it is about that. Sehun gets it now.

How is he supposed to react, though? Should he act scared? Should he agree and promise he will never break Tao's heart? Should he ask, if Tao breaks Sehun's heart one day, will he be allowed to break Yifan's dick? Because Sehun likes Tao too much to break his dick. He likes Tao's dick a lot, too.

"I won't, I promise," Sehun says weakly, blinking softly at Yifan.

So Sehun's decided to be nice and fear Yifan for a moment.

"Good. Because your dick will be only the beginning." Yifan does look pretty pleased with himself, besides treathening.

"I like my dick," slips out, too. This one is a total accident, though, and wasn't supposed to happen.

Yifan frowns a little.

"Yeah, I don't doubt that," he says after a moment. "So make sure it's safe."

Sehun nods eagerly, because he is so going to do that.

"Now get out." Yifan takes his hand from the door and backs away a bit.

Sehun doesn't need to be twice, he's out in a few seconds.

Yifan closes the door after him and grins.

"Woah," he murmurs to himself. It totally worked, he treathened Sehun and Sehun was scared and now he'll definitely be careful about breaking Tao's heart, if he wasn't going to do so in the first place.

Yifan beams. He's such a great hyung.

*

About an hour later the guests are starting to leave, deciding that the new parents and Jongin could use some family time.

Well, they consider the previous hours as family time, too, because all of them are kind of family, but time for just the three of them can definitely be useful.

Except, it's followed with more giggly and shy Jongin, because while saying bye he gets hugs from everyone, even Kyungsoo, who keeps smiling at Jongin with that adorable smile of his.

As Tao and Sehun are going out, Jongin notices Sehun not looking at Yifan in a very obvious manner and Yifan grinning. But then Yifan turns to look somewhere else and Sehun chuckles slightly, which has Tao grinning at him and pecking his cheek.

Only more grinning follows.

But then the door closes and they're alone: Minseok, Yifan and Jongin.

They keep glancing at each other for a few moments, not sure what to do.

"Want to watch something?" Minseok suggests softly.

Jongin nods and Yifan is just happy with whatever, as the boy takes his hand and starts leading him towards the room with the tv.

*

The evening comes and along with it, the hour that has Jongin going to sleep.

He's a little bit nervous. Going to sleep is a pretty simple thing to do, except it's the first night at this house and he's just nervous.

Washing up and changing into his pajama go well. Laying down in his new bed, next to the Pororo plush he deemed as his favorite one, is pretty easy, too.

So he's lying down and Yifan comes into the room, followed by Minseok. Jongin smiles softly, as they look a little bit nervous themselves.

"You are fine? Everything is okay?" Minseok asks, walking over to the bed. He crouches next to it, so he can look at Jongin easier.

Jongin nods.

"Okay, well. Goodnight. Sleep well." Minseok smiles and pats Jongin's head. He thinks for a moment and pecks the boy's forehead.

"Goodnight, Jonginnie." Yifan crouches next to Minseok. "Have some nice dreams. They say it's a night sign, to have lovely dreams at a new place." He smiles and pecks Jongin's cheek.

"Goodnight," Jongin says quietly, feeling like he should follow that word by something more.

The men stand up, so he glances at them.

As Jongin's considering asking, he's starting to feel more and more nervous. He takes his Pororo and squeezes it.

"Can I-" he starts, but hesitates. Minseok and Yifan looks at him, smiling softly. It really seems like they're fine with him saying or not saying that. They look at him like it's okay, like he can take his time to do whatever he needs, like they really care.

Jongin takes a deep breath.

"Can I call you appas? Or daddies? Or -" he cuts off once more, sad that he doesn't know the Chinese word, especially that Yifan is Chinese, so Jongin wants to know some stuff.

He doesn't get much time to be sad about it, because he gets surprised with a hug from both Yifan and Minseok at the same time and lots of pecks.

"Of course, you can. Anything you want to call us," Minseok says, beaming.

"You're our little baby," Yifan adds, squeezing Jongin's little hand softly.

Jongin grins, really happy with the men's reactions and knowing he's got real dads now and he can call them that.

"Goodnight, Minseokkie-appa." Jongin pecks Minseok's cheek. "Goodnight, Yifannie-daddy." He pecks Yifan's cheek.

"Goodnight, baby," Yifan answers, feeling happier than he has ever before, the hand of his precious son in one hand and the hand of his lovely husband in the other.

It takes a few more minutes for Yifan and Minseok actually get up and start going towards the door. Even while walking, they keep grinning and glancing at Jongin, who is waving at them adorably.

The door closes. The only light now is the little Pororo lamp beside the bed.

Jongin keeps grinning as he hugs his Pororo plush tightly.

The door suddenly opens again, Yifan's head appearing.

"If anything happens, if you need anything, seriously anything, just come to us, come get us, wake us up, really, just do," he says quickly.

Jongin smiles cutely and nods.

"Goodnight, Jonginnie." Yifan nods, too, and closes the door again.

Jongin loosens up the hug and looks at the Pororo's face.

"I have the best dads ever," he says to it. Then he moves its head like the Pororo is nodding.

Because, really, it's true and Jongin's dads are the best and he couldn't have ever imagined better ones.

And they're his.
