Let me just say that being a total outsider has its pros and cons. Sometimes I feel like the friend that people have when their other friends aren't looking. Am I really such an annoying embarrassment?

i love you jacob. annoying and embarrassing are two separate things which need to be considered.

maybe the reason people treat you that way is because their other friends are so superficial and needy that they expend all their energy maintaining those relationships. what has myspace taught you? you're just a low maintenance chill kinda friend who doesnt kick them out of the sandbox for canceling a few times or not calling.

are you an outsider by choice?

Sometimes I'm an outsider by choice. It more of just a sense that I have. BTW, thanks for keeping me in your top 8.

ok this has very little to do with embarrassment and a lot to do with annoyingness. it is very annoying that you are almost the only one on my friends list who still updates. my friends page is like full of your angry emo bullshit. i'd like to see more stuff about happy things like love and fluffy pink kittens that sneeze on command. that is all. :)

Love is dead, at least in my life, and the fluffy pink kittens sneeze because they've been anthraxed.

An outsider? Knock it off, Jacob. You are Peabody's ultimate insider. You have fifty million friends on facebook, you always know all the gossip, you get recognized as a star of early music at random little churches in Towson. Everyone knows and loves you, darling.
