Yesterday I had afternoon tea at the Savoy Hotel with Jared and Justin and two of Jared's friends visiting from Long Island. Wow, that tea was amazing. They kept bringing tons of food, the tea was delicious, we had a live piano player taking requests of good old songs like Misty. So yesterday Justin and I took a daytrip to Milan to buy some nice Italian clothes. Wow, I'm really disappointed with the Academy's choice of award nominees this year. Master and Commander up for Best Picture instead of Big Fish or Cold Mountain? I know I have yet to see either of the latter two films, but Master and Commander was such a pointless waste-of-money movie, and at least Big Fish looks imaginative and Cold Mountain ( Read more... )

I'm here in Berlin at what has to be the weirdest and coolest hostel ever. It feels like I've just stepped onto the bridge of the Enterprise...the whole building is in like the space mountain theme.
