I'm now three weeks into break, and I feel like I'm being nowhere near as productive as I'd promised myself that I would be. I've done my fair share of studying and paper writing I suppose, but still nowhere near enough. Over this past term I've been thinking more and more about transferring to LSE. I just have trouble seeing myself back at Oberlin after experiencing what college can be like in a big city. Spring break travel plans have been derailed. Work threatens to overwhelm me. And yet my life can't help but be good right now because Sarah's here visiting, and it's not possible to feel anything but good around that girl.

I've decided that I'm going to teach myself to type using DVORAK over the next few days. I've begun tonight, and it's hard to stay patient when I'm typing around 3 words per minute, but I can already see the improvement. Today is the first day of the rest of the year. The studying doth now commence.

Well, not til after my daytrip to Dublin for St. Patrick's Day...

But then when I come back, 13 hours a day of studying in my room, easy. I am determined.
