Good luck!!!

One of the reasons why I like to tan in the winter is because I get feeling that way sometimes. I find tanning helps me in that regard.

I know you will succeed in your goals for the week, just take it a day at a time.

Winter completely ruins me in that regard. I don't know what's worse - starting a term in the fall and quickly having it turn into winter, or starting one in winter and slowly have it turn into slush.

I've been where you are lately, and the only thing motivating me to do the minimum is fear of failure. It works for me, but it doesn't work for everyone and it certainly wouldn't work for you. inizio is right - Student Counselling is always there. Getting this off your back to a professional may help.

Best of luck!

I'm really proud of you, it's hard to make a post like this, to finalize and bring the feelings to some sort of reality, but you did it. :) You'll take the goals you made and you'll get them, one by one, because you're awesome. I believe in you and you've got an entire cheering section (see above) of friends who love and adore you as MUCH as I do who are willing to help with ANYTHING, whether it's cheering you on during homework or taking you out for coffee in the middle of the night or cuddlin' with you when you feel blah.

If you need anything, let me know. if you WANT anything, lemme know. Love you dearly!

*hugs*

winter blahs + school + lack of motivation can overwhelm you. it looks like you're pointed in the right direction by making the list.

this is going to sound kinda lame, but i find that tending to my plants really helps with my blahs. and i agree with tam, tanning is great to get the light therapy, i know the idea of cancer is daunting, but if you just use it for 5 minutes here and there, the combination of the uv and the heat is really quite wonderful. or get a grow light and put it where you do a lot of your homework, even 1/2 an hour a day in front of that really can help.

I'm having a hard time with anxiety and depresson this winter too. writing it down and making a list is a very good step in the right direction. take small steps. Don't give up all the fun stuff if you are behind. I tried that once and it made it worse. I'm sure you will pull through somehow. Peace be with you.
