Nor is there any good sci-fi movies :( I want to see epic battles of epic fleets fighting at millions of kilometers with huge ships exploding and herioc deaths and witty one-liners and all that shit.

Is it too much to ask for at least one broadside of grasers?

Star Wars Tele-series is on the cards... about the only thing I can think of upcoming that might have what's needed.

More Firefly/Serenity wouldn't go astray though.

Eeeeh, I'll see how the movie version of Ender's Game goes, and the upcoming movie/TV series (I don't think they've quite decided) version of Honor Harrington promises, if done right, to deliver the right amount of awesome space combat. The first book has plenty of material: over half the book is dedicated to a single firefight between a single Light Cruiser and a Q-Ship. Complete with detail of the exact damage caused by each individual beam from a laser-head missile.

i completely agree, video games have fear down to an art. i love that feeling of being scared and not knowing what is going to happen next, it makes me happy in the fase :D

I'll lend you FEAR Shan, that game builds suspense like no other game I've seen, it doesn't try to flat out bash you with horror, but it is constantly on the edge of your vision, then every so often something big happens that makes you fall back off your seat trying to get away.

agreed. i can't remember the last time i saw a good horror movie recently. but funny you should mention horror movies, one of the better ones is on tonight, i shall be watching carrie :) i know, i know... stephen king movie = guilty pleasure. but meh. I just sit back, and dig through older horror films. actually, one that wasn't *too* bad recently was 13 ghosts, but again, too much reliance on gore.

Scriptwriter: Here's good idea its kewl
Director: TL;DR lez do sumfun awesome and catering to the 13 year olds when it's an 18+ movie!
Scriptwriter: K.
