I know. It's scary isn't it? I'm going to be turning 23 in 12 days and I only just realized I don't know who I really am. I've been following other people's examples and placing on masks for everyone my whole life and don't really have my own personality.

Also, you have people like to me to try and kick the shit out of ex's friends in your defense, you must be doing ok. No one (except you of course) would do that for me, man. Also, shitty ex didn't start shit, just wouldn't help me finish it - it was Animal who actually started.

Not happy with life in a certain place? Pack up and move. Check where the opportunities are, and go there. Do what needs to be done to get a better job. Take training courses that will help you. Aim for a better job with more opportunities. Push for a better position within your own job. Hell, even aim to be the absolute best you can be in your current role. Its not that hard.

but i AM the best person in my job where i work, everyone is absolutely dreading me leaving. the other day i had to bring up the subject of leaving with my boss the other day and that was NOT a pleasant conversation. i felt so awkward ;.;
and i like it here in tassie, i don't feel like moving just now, maybe later in the future, but for me right now, my future is here :)

Then demand better hours or a better position. Ask to be put in for management training. If you're that valued, capitalise on it. Tell them that you feel like you're stagnating in your current position and ask to discuss options for your future.
