This is so great, from beginning to end. But I would be remiss if I didn't take a moment to adore "her head feels very wobbly and once she gave in to the wobble, the wobble became everything" individually, because omg, drunk reasoning. I LOVE IT.

Oh, this is excellent! Poor Pam, getting some small relief from Kelly Kapoor story hour. That's when you know things are on the decline!

So I just leave with my hair wet and it's like ten below zero out there and I thought all my hair was going to freeze off, but it didn't. I could have been bald, though, could you imagine? -- Hee! PERFECT Kelly, and I love Kelly lots and lots. Thank you.

Loved this! Your characterization was fantastic all the way through, but I liked this sentence in particular,

Kelly gently wraps her cool fingers around the back of Pam's hand and squeezes, that solemn wide-eyed doll look on her face.

What a perfect description of Kelly in that moment - her voice is perfect in this, but you really got her facial expressions and how she carries herself, too. I loved Pam in this, too, the quiet sadness, and the ending is just perfect.
