So my lame sinus infection finally ebbed enough for me to venture away from my box of tissues.
I convinced Sal to scoop me up tonight, since he was planning on going to Necto.

My sinuses really -do- hate me!
I've never had a sinus infection this bad.
My poor nose is chapped and starting to bleed from blowing it so often.
I can hardly eat because I can't breathe and chew at the same time.
(I refuse to chew with my mouth open, that's disgusting!)
*sigh*

This is quite odd.
For the first time in a very long time, I am at peace with who I am.
I am genuinely happy!

Sal and I are still talking, I don't see any reason to throw away a wonderful friendship.
I told him on Tuesday that I can never be more than just a friend again.
I don't feel like putting myself through rejection after rejection anymore.

Today I had an anxiety attack.
It started while I was in the grocery store with my mom.
I wanted to curl up into a little ball and the floor and cry.
I told my mom what was going on and she just kept talking to me throughout the store.
I managed to keep it in check until I got home.
Then I ran into the house, my legs gave out in my bedroom.

Christmas was great.
My favorite gift was from Sal.
Since I've been jobless for a bit, he gave me the choice of getting a ton of gifts for myself or buying gifts for my family.
Being the kind of gal that I happen to be, I chose my family.
I'm so glad I made that choice.
There's nothing like seeing loved ones light up when they open a gift from you.
