Health Care Bill FactCheck.
Although I'm not sure how this new bill will affect me or friends with little to no income, I do think anyone should take those mass produced posts/emails that make claims about the bill without actually stating what the bill says with a grain of salt. Further Confusion Plans.
I've bought my tickets, have a reservation for the Holiday Inn (just down the street), and am getting the time off work for the trip.
Lots of people I know will be there, and I hope to meet many of them. But I don't see how I'll be able to fit meeting everyone in such a small space of time. -
Writer's Block: Church & State
Yes, the Church and State should be and currently are separate entities in the United States.
However, this does not mean people should not be allowed to vote for or create laws based on their religious (AKA Church) beliefs, that would be denying one the right to their religion. It just means that the Church and State are separate social entities. ( Read more... ) -

Further Confusion 2008.
I'm all set for Further Confusion. I have my stuff packed and ready to go. I'll be leaving from Denver, CO, at about 8:30am and arriving in San Jose around 10am.
