I am an uncle. My brother and his partner Angie had a baby just before 6am this morning; the name is Laila Mae Hunsley. Are they prepared for the chaos of being new parents? I bet no-one ever is, they just cope!

I was hearing a while back about bloggings being 'sponsored' in non-transparent ways, i.e. being rewarded for talking up products without declaring their interest/reward. Shame on the BBC for some very bad science. And double shame on them for allowing someone to use their 'investigation' as a platform for selling their snake-oil tin foil hat.

I've just passed an accident scene on Princes St. At first I thought a bomb had gone off on a bus, because part of the side on the top floor looked blown out. Turns out that a really stupid vehicle, with huge overhang high at the back, had turned off Princes St towards Charlotte square, with a bus alongside.
