The movie "Funny Games" was revolting and I'm buying it as soon as the sun comes up.

we can't shake the feeling we've seen the movie before
even after seeing it and knowing we haven't

the original is even less deja-vu-rific

so it's not that

there's just
something

I would genuinely like to know if someone knows what I'm talking about.

that movie was actually good?

I'm glad it's you saying so.
Maybe I'll have to check it out.

I have no idea what you were talking about and whether or not you enjoyed the movie or not.
Although my brain is leaning towards the "yes I did like it" side.

I do know what movie that is and have wanted to see it since it was in theaters.
I'll get to see it...some day...
Till that day, I will be waiting.

I like Michael Pitt.
And Naomi Watts is awesome...sometimes.

I loved it in an Irreversible way

it was emotionally draining

I think you'll really like it if you know where the writer/director was coming from. The whole thing is sort of a joke on the audience.

you liked it??? I saw it and thought it was terrible. Drawn out with really no climax or anything. Its very creepy clearly but I thought it was really unentertaining. Good acting though. Just dull in my oppinion. Im suprised you liked it but sweet I guess.

I would've hated it if I didn't know where the writer/director was coming from. He thinks western culture is obsessed with violence.. so the whole movie, without actually showing the acts of violence, he tries to just show the horrible aftermath.. never glorifying the act

it's the anti-saw or hostel or whatever

plus plot-wise he goes to such lengths as to have michael pitt look into the camera and even talk to us as an audience about our typical expectations and predictions.. about a hero overcoming

Yeah we talked about that. How its interesting to talk to the audience. I mean there are interesting parts of it. Things such as that and just simple things that made it not like other movies. Like that scene where shes tied up and trying to get untied...I thought that was the longest most boring scene ever. It dragged on for sooooooooooooooo long but cleary made it more realistic. So I dug the idea at least. I could see appreciating it. Just not something id watch more than once. But im glad you liked it.
