Does your kitty's vomit have a lot of hair in it? Cats cough up hairballs, which is normal, but I think sometimes, it can interrupt normal digestion, too. If the vomit has a lot of hair in it, you may try switching over to hair-ball easing food or brush the cat a lot.

No, it's definitely not a hair problem. He is a bit skinny, so I'm starting to think I should get him tested.

It's Nutro natural choice, indoor food.

ok, yes. A change in foods wouldn't be a bad thing. Nutro has a couple of fillers in it that your cat doesn't need and can sometimes be had to digest. The corn gluten meal is the main no-no ingredient.
Phytomucil is something to look into for right now. It should help settle your kitty's stomach.

There are alot of food I could suggest but I'm going to try and narrow it down a little more.
How old is your cat?
slender or heavy?
Are you willing to deal with raw meat?

( I will thank him)

Thanks for the informed response! He is four years old, slender, a bit on the skinny side right now, and I am willing to deal with raw meat, but I don't want to spend a tonne of money.
