[Usually, Sanji deems exercise and practice as activities to conduct by oneself. Easier to concentrate that way, especially when you consider the company he keeps

[Zoro isn't in town, but if Sanji crosses back over the bridge toward House 6 at some point he may see the marimo sitting by the river a ways off in the distance...somewhat near the spot where he and Nami were swept away more than a month ago, actually.
He's very still, swords laid out beside him and eyes closed, breathing deep and even-and he won't react immediately if Sanji comes calling. Meditation done properly, impatient cook. 8|]
[Suck his balls, Marimo. He's already noted you excel at this area more than he, and discards it like an irritating fact he can't be bothered to speculate on.
But his approach lacks the usual demand the shithead pay attention - maybe because he finished up much the same a few hours ago, and he can extend a certain appreciation for what Zoro's currently involved in. Instead, a pause when there's only a few feet between them.
[Sanji waiting without demand seems to indicate whatever he's here for isn't urgent, but he's clearly not leaving, either. It's a little while before Zoro stirs, one eye cracking open, and says on an exhale-]
If something did, you'd know. [Through sixth sense and possibly half the crew running around]
Nah, it's just a small matter. [A pause because while he knows he should inform everyone, the how of it escapes him.
So he defaults to the 'no bullshit' method]
A young lady I met a few days ago mentioned needing help with eating, so I offered myself.
She feeds on souls. [And following up, quickly] The process is harmless - the most I'll get is a headache. And apparently it's part of the soul that replenishes itself. [He chooses then to pause and see how Zoro's taking this. Bored? Unconcerned? Wanting to get back to meditating?]
[The love-cook offers himself up to women with cooking and other shit within moments of meeting them all the time, why's he bothering to bring this up-]
Sanji automatically tenses because getting shot with that glare tends to end in physical rebuttal. And this isn't exactly the reaction he'd been hoping for]
Oi, weren't you listening? The process is--!
[Any words still on his tongue come to an abrupt halt. And he... sighs, heavily, with the promise of more news Zoro will not approve of.]
Zoro can't even put into words how many problems he has with this idea-no, actually, he can, he can give a fucking itemized list, but he'll keep a tight rein until whatever this next wonderful bit of bullshit is, it's bound to be good.
In the meantime he's still staring darkly up at Sanji; he doesn't even make a twitch toward his swords, but the pressure around him is heavy.]
[He doesn't avoid the stare. Or flinch back. Because he's the one who came to the shithead, and like he'll turn tail over a nasty response. But tight as the air's feeling, there's a distinct lack of anger on Sanji's end - he only stands his ground and watches Zoro's curl up tighter]
She draws the soul out by staring someone in the eyes - usually she's got a blindfold on. But when she takes it off...
So long as she's not startled, there's no problem. [he breathes deeply through his nose, letting it out with slow intent] It's if I look in her eyes when she's not ready that she could take the part of my soul that's not so easy to get back.
[Then he spins around and comes marching back, jabbing a pissed finger in Sanji's direction.]
What the fuck, cook. That goddamn parasite almost shredded your soul away a month ago-I saw it. And you're gonna risk worse than that for some stranger on her word? She could be fucking lying-she doesn't even have to be lying, she could just fucking twitch if she's telling the truth!
[This is not concern, it's-calling Sanji on being an idiot. 8| Yes.]

What. [He doesn't hear himself speak, not through Zoro's accusation snarling in his head over and over. And he doesn't know how sickly pale he's turned, either, or that if he squeezes his hands much harder the nails will dig out skin and blood.
