dear friends,

I am happy to report that, contrary to popular belief, four days of rain in San Diego is not the coming of the apocalypse, and that so far I have refrained from being washed away the 'teh deluge of OMG!EPIC d00m'.

You'd think they'd never heard of liquid coming from the sky. *grumble*

rain, lol

Seriously! Long Beach is majorly flooded, and I've been on the road driving a LOT...and everyone is behaving remarkably well. I'm proud of my people!

I agree, everybody handled it really well here as well, I'm pretty happy about that!

Jeez, the amount of excitement happening, you'd think meatballs and burgers and pizzas were falling from the sky.

*ponders*
Mmm. I haven't seen that movie but wouldn't it be lovely to live in that world? *daydreams*

OH GOD NOT THAT MOVIE PLEASE, ANYTHING BUT.
*hides*

It's just that I was mildly traumatized by it. I didn't eat meatballs for two weeks afterwards and chicken nearly freaked me out... :P

O.o Here I thought it was just another cute cartoon comedy.

And yet it's traumatized you. Put you off FOOD. Gosh.

*tries to reconcile this with prior misconceptions*

*iz greatly puzzled*

Nope. Absolutely not.

See, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs makes itself look all cutesy and innocent, "Oh look, it's an adorable scientist with crazy Sheppard!hair who makes it rain food, let's see it!"

But what they don't tell you in the previews is that there is a spaghetti and meatball tornado and whole roast chicken ninjas. And giant gummy bears attacking, as well. So, yeah. Freaky. *nodnod*
