Baby it's cold outside!
It is quite cold outside, which means in my classroom full of windows and doors is freezing. In the afternoon, when the sun is no longer shining into the windows, we pull down the shades in the hopes of keeping the heat inside and lessening the drafts. A couple years ago, I made an attempt at a quilt. It is definitely a work in progress - STILL! - but my interest in it has revived now that Meredith is starting up a quilt of her own. So disappointing.
Steve's plane was supposed to leave JFK at 7pm. But it was raining. and customs takes forever. and his seat wasn't saved on the flight anymore.
So now he's leaving at 1am. And I don't get to see him tonight :(
so sad. I have to wait a whole 'nother day to see him.
