 I did my first tattoo on Sunday. I was nervous, but confident and ready. It was really exciting. At first I didn't stretch the skin as much as I needed to, and I didn't hold the needle at enough of an angle. My shading went great, there is an even tone and i'm proud of that.  I went to the fair tonight. The lights and sounds were exciting, but it was also pretty depressing. I saw tons of tied up cows being bid on, based on price per pound while I'm working through the idea of eating meat again for my trip to Germany, a wallaby in a filthy cage next to a pacing, panting wolf...in the same sized cage. No one ever updates anymore. I miss my friends from home. Home isn't Florida. Summertime is supposed to be fun and happy. This stinks.

Uhggg. My car was broken into last night and a bunch of my things were stolen. My landlady is crazy and won't let us park in our driveway so I had to park two houses down on the street because it was the only spot. And this is what happened. Fuck!
