He doesn't want to be a douche (at least to her). Aww... And she laughs at him hehe.

Puck and Rachel in the video store! Most adorable thing ever and then Mercedes and Kurt.... LMAO!

But the part that killed me was dark, sad-eyed vulnerable Puck. The whole thing about him always being part of a team and not knowing if he could do it on his own......... Is something that never occurred to me before. And now that your Puck mentioned it, it's got me thinking on the show's Puck. I kinda love it when that happens lol.

All of this was amazing to read your thoghts. That whole angle was also my favorite part of this section and one of the reasons I love reading fic is because a lot of it does make you think about the show's Puck in a different light. The fact tht my story had that effect on you is kind of amazing! Thanks again for leaving such a spectacular and thoughtful review-- it really does make my day to hear back from you guys.

Wow - just wow. I really like the balance of Puck and Rachel in this. They keep their respective strenghts and weaknesses and it totally works.

I like that Bam is the intellectual stimulation that Rach is missing but am also fearful as to where that might lead. aka - Bam-Bam meets Puck’s eyes, shakes his head and mouths an ominous warning: “Disaster.”

Best lines from July for me were:
“I told you, dude wasn’t messing around: never touch the Jesus Hot Pocket.”
- So funny really!

....and this was so revealing, poignant and really summarized Puck for me.

Using girls is familiar territory for Puck, so he knows he can pull it off. What he doesn’t quite understand though is that nagging feeling he has in the back of his head telling him that all this is a shit-awful idea. He’s not used to feeling guilty about running his game, but it’s different this time because usually it’s not on girls he’s actually friends with. Hell, he’s never even really had friends who were girls.

Just beautifully written. Can't wait for the update.

Oh goodness, this was such a wonderfully thoughtful comment! Thank you so, so much for taking the time to drop a line; honestly feedback like this is my favorite and makes me blush/feel (selfishly) ridiculously happy. I'm thrilled to know you're enjoying this as much as I enjoy writing it and I know how easy it is to just read and move on, so THANK YOU for taking the time to share your thoughts! I know this comment is million years late and I apologize for that-- I got wrapped up with a lot of end of the school year business, but I just wanted to say thanks.

I'm not sure if you're interested in checking it out or have the time, but I just posted the second part of August yesterday and hopefully will be rounding out the whole series soon (And also LOL SPOILER ALERT: it's sequel). So if you want to see how everything ends up, keep your eyes peeled!

Oh god, this was so, so wonderful. The way you write Puck and Rachel just makes my heart clench. I love Puck's admission that he'd always been part of a team, and Rachel's insanity... and Puck trying to do it right, at the end, was fantastic.

I know this comment is all kinds of LATE, but I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much I appreciate you taking the time to not just read this, but also let me know what you thought! It's amazing to see that you're having such a good time with it-- I think it might be my favorite fic to write! IDK, summers are magical I can't help it, LOL.

I'm not sure if you've gotten around to checking it out, but just a fun little head's up: I posted the second part of August yesterday (I'm posting that chapter in seperate installments due to time constraints and annoying RL conflicts, ugh) so if you're interested you should defo check it out! Now that I'm done with classes, I'm trying to catch up on everyone's feedback and finish up the story. So you can expect part three out relatively soon as well!

That was perfect. Absolutely perfect. The way you write these two - so true to character - is stunning. I really don't know what I can say besides that!

Except that I would really like to marry Bam Bam. Like... tomorrow, please.

And, I totally feel your grad school pain. Why does grad school always, um... almost always, come before writing fic?

OMG IS IT WEIRD FOR ME TO SAY THAT I WANT TO ALSO? LOL. I know I should be ~ashamed to say that about an OC that I clearly created, but WHATEVER, OKAY? I WANT TO MARRY HIM AND HAVE LIKE A MILLION OF HIS LITTLE DRUMMER BABIES.

Isn't it the worst?????? I fully blame school for the fact that I'm replying to your lovely comment literally a month late. LOL WHUT? I wish I were sane. I just wanted to say that your feedback is so, so sweet and it really and truly makes me ridiculously happy to know that you're enjoying the ride as much as I'm enjoying writing it. I know I've kind of turned this story into Puck loving LOL ALL THE THINGS THAT I LOVE~~~~~ but I'm shameless and it's fun? LOL.

this was so great... I love how Puck's maturing, whether its do to Rachels influence or the band or just life....he's becoming a man....and Rachel, she's just so sweet and driven and adorable....I love how you've written both of them...I cannot wait for August!!
