you suck. you always complain that i am a pessimist, yet you are the one with such a "morbid fascination." try to write something with happiness and overwhelming joy in it... such as a poem about a kid named gaeten leaving earth in a little red spaceship.
nah, i'm just kidding around. i like it man. personally, i think the verse that starts "the stones are crumbling..." is the strongest part of the poem. and i love "years of weather has left them nameless." awesome. love how you repeat the first/last verse too. its like a cycle.
hey darlin, well.. The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova is the one about Dracula, or Vlad the Impaler... frikin amazing. And the other one I told you about is The Secret History by Donna Tart. also fabulous... I hope you love them as much as i do. how's school and everything? keep me posted, and of course, lemme know if you come back this way anytime soon. ;)
Awesome. :) I plan on checking these two out this weekend. I've been drowning in Victorian British Lit lately and need to unwind some. ;) School's okay so far. Lots of reading, lots of work, but I'm trying to make the most of it and keep ahead. I was thinking of coming back this weekend, but ends up I need to do my theatre class lab hours in the costuming department Sat and Sun. Should be soon, though. And when I do, we'll definitely get together. :)
Any further word about your move? Think you'll be here for October? I'm trying to plan a Halloween party. Halloween night I'll be on Franklin St. with some friends dressed as slutty versions of Alice in Wonderland characters. ;D So it'll prolly be the weekend before. Think you could make it? :D
