Oh I do love the fact Spike is seriously taking care of Xander and his odd behaviour. I do hope with his help Xander can find his way back into the "real" life.

I pretty much write until the muse says the chapter's finished... then start another one lol. Though it does seem like the further I get into the story the longer the chapters get. I'm hoping they'll plateau eventually... either that or shakatany will have a word-overload lol.

I'm so glad Spike isn't letting Xander pretend anymore.

Xander turning Spike into a pillow is adorable. I hope Spike enjoyed it!

I like how even though Xander isn't 100%, he's still very concerned about where Dawn is and getting to work. Even if he slept through the whole day.

Not quite sure how a trip to a club will help the healing process, but I can't wait to see what happens there!

*g* Everyone's favourite vamp gets possessive over anything he even remotely thinks is his, and Xander is his by association with Dawn (or at least that's what he's telling himself at the moment)

One of the things about Xander that I'm having to work around is his White Knight complex. Sometimes it gets in the road, but I love the boy for it lol.

There is method in my - and Spike's - madness for the clubbing. In fact *g* just posting the next chapter, so you can find out.

I liked that Xander was just so spent and comfortable that he slept the day away, and Spike just let him take comfort in having another body in the bed. Spike not letting Xander off the hook, allowing him to slip back into sleep living mode, was also stellar. Of course Xander didn't have time to grieve, he was too busy holding everybody else together. Spike's going to manhandle Xander back to life, and some dancing should be a catharsis Xander didn't even know he needed.

*chuckles* I think I like that expression; "manhandle Xander back to life". So appropriate for everyone's favourite vamp.
