I believe Mr. Gavin has the right idea, Detective. A little focus and time spent in a Goodwill can help you put together a relatively nice ensemble for cheap. You'll need to be willing to look around, though - not many men are as big as you are.

In addition to the above recommendations, the outfit that you have can look a lot more formal if you only tightened your tie, buttoned the top button of your shirt, and perhaps in lieu of the jacket, a blazer or vest. It must be terribly hot during the summer anyway.

Oh no, it's no problem! Besides, if I didn't wear the coat, I wouldn't look much like a detective, right sir? The heat's a small price to pay!
