Made the 3rd annual trip down to NYC to visit Jay, Kerri, and the NYC auto show. Amanda and I drove down Thursday night and ran into horrendous construction traffic on 81 between Binghamton and Scranton. In the end the trip took just over five hours. 2/25 - WednesdayPacked the car the night before. I was surprised how much stuff I was bringing considering I didn't have many clothes. Left work just past 2pm for the drive out to Jay, VT. Last night Steve and Bekka came over to help reinstall my gutters as well as food/game night. Since as usual Steve didn't inform me he had a showing at 6pm, I figured I'd get to work on the garage gutter since I could lift it myself. Last weekend was the SCCA NE Divisional Championship. Unfortunately I was the only car in DS registered, so I won the trophy by default and had no one to compete with. Played basketball this morning for the first time in like 6 weeks due to calf injuries. The calf muscle proved to be healed, at least from what I can tell. Being away for so long though definitely shows as there's a lot of rust. My shot started off really well, then went bad. Had an appointment with the surgeon yesterday. He's very impressed with my progress and I no longer have to use the knee brace for working out. The only time I need to use it now is for playing sports. Today I was gassed running for some reason, I only made it 2.25 miles at 8 min pace because I was too tired to go on.
