Okay, I'll stop with the dramatics. Usually I lay Delia in her crib to start out the night so I can have some time to myself. She starts to fuss an hour or so after I go to bed, so I bring her in my bed. She gets up to eat once and then I wake up, move her back into her crib and go have coffee or shower until she wakes up ( Read more... )

I took Delia swimming for the first time today. I don't know that she loved it but she didn't cry and she laughed and kicked a bit. For me and my 2 friends that came it was the cutest!thing!ever

Its been a long time since I updated my journal proper. I seem to spend most of my LJ time posting updates to pregnancy communities. Well that stage of my life is almost over. Less than 5 weeks to go! I have a few more things to buy and I have to wash and organise all the clothes and cloths I've received. That will be a lot of work ( Read more... )

Long time no update. Things are pretty good lately. My parents visited me all last week. Nothing like some parental love to lift your spirits! While they were here we put the baby's crib together and bought sheets, blanket and a crib skirt. We also got this great little fuzzy green rug, I think the nursery corner of my room looks great. I've been back in Calgary for a week now. Things have returned to normal although I miss my family like crazy. I didn't get the position I interviewed for yesterday. I'm disappointed but I think my good friend J got it. She needs a full-time permanent position and I already have one. I just had a big time job interview at work. I found out Friday I had been shortlisted for a promotion type job that was created at the library and that my interview was 9:30 Monday morning.
