Future historians will be bemused at your description of myself and Earl, but nevertheless I am highly amused and flattered at being my own definition.

More fodder for future historians.

I do understand the reasoning behind the pseudonyms. I am very attached to mine as I think it is the most beautiful word I know. One never knows which bit of information might be used against us by someone who has no business in our lives. I.e., to protect us from strangers basically, following the precautions learned in kindergarten (you'll notice that I did not identify the subject of my 6/13 entry). But I have no problem with anyone knowing that Jason thinks me to be a friend or that I him (I know this is not your objection).

And any stranger reading THIS still does not know my pseudonym.

my place in your heaven anonymous June 30 2004, 15:22:56 UTC

i didn’t even notice
the days were so long-
i was busy dancing
by your hypnotizing song.

when my day was dimmed
and my sunset gone,
i had no urgent need for light-
i didn’t look east for dawn.

day and night my heart i lift
into your heavenly heights-
your arms are clouds that hold me high,
your eyes, my celestial lights.

you are my east,
not my west, north, or south-
and i no longer thirst,
with my lips to heaven’s mouth.
