I think that the second someone should act according to how that individual feels is the right thing to do. In this case, my input would have to be to just be friends because whereas the first someone would be living a happy life, the second someone would basically be living a lie. The second someone can't truly be happy if the attraction isn't mutual, can it?

its hard for the heart to learn/force itself to love something it doesn't love. not true. if a heart is strong enough to keep us alive, it must be capable of learning something small and negligible, like love.
Oh Hannah, you're so cute. I will give you my honestful opinion on this on Friday or whenever I see you next. You may have to supplement me with details so that I can give you a better opinion. :) In the meanwhile, I think whatever feels the most natural may be the way to go.
