dear lauren,
I just spent the weekend with my mom's best friend's baby/toddler and I almost took her home with me because I love her so. Babies are so much lovelier than college and for that reason I would like to skip college all together and have a nice tiny baby person to love forever instead.

I saw a girl who thought like you on Maury. The Episode was "My Thirteen Year Old is Trying To Get Pregnant!" and it was about how girls wanted a baby so they'd have someone who would love them. But you are at least a high school graduate, so it's not too bad if you get pregnant. But still. I will love you forever, so you don't need a baby yet.

Ha! That actually crossed my mind, though not in any type of seriousness. But I mean, if I DID have a baby people couldn't be all "tramp! that tramp had a baby in high school!" because I'm not in high school. oh and I will love you forever, too.

I have spent many wonderful hours with delightful, tiny babes. They are great and warm and cuddly, but they do not stay that way! Don't let them trick you with their small fingernails and soft fuzzy hair! Babies are poop machines and they smell and cry and scream in the dark night and wake you from your sleep. Don't be fooled!
