today my family and i went to the Morakami Museum and Gardens in west palm beach. it was quite beautiful. it made me a little bit sad, though. becuase well, the garden is man made. the exotics shown are not native to this this region--nevertheless, florida. also, the only Japanese people who worked there were the waiters/waitresses at the sushi

dude, looks totally awesome. When I get rich, thats what my backyard will look like, and you can come over and carve in the bamboo anytime.

it certainly was an adventure!
i didn't like the garden itself, though.
i love color and the tropics...not so much rocks and trees.
but that's just me. lol

hahaha, i didn't carve into the bamboo..it was already there.

i want a japanese-style house so badly when i grow up.
they are beautiful and can capture the true essence of home without being all cluttered and messy like American houses.
