My family has a superstition of sorts: whatever you're doing in the first hour of the New Year will represent what you will be doing for the rest of said year.

the fun bit of some of this season's crafting is that while performing the necessary cuts with the dremel, i inhaled some plastic dust, so i'm somewhat dizzy and my throat hurts. hooray!

IT'S SNOWING
and not the "white crap in the sky" that we had before thanksgiving. this is actual snow on the ground snow.
