...kinda want to go. Considering I've never been before, an' all...

I'm not sure whether I want to go or not, given that it's going to be dreadfully crowded and pretentious, but we'll see. Although if I do, it'll probably only be for a little while...
I know there are lots of LJ people going... if that's any consolation. :)

also my boxes will probably arrive by the 22nd, you may get a phone call (to organise a delivery time), anything they want to know about extra payments or things, tell them to email me and I'll pay extras on my Visa. They know this, but may forget. They have all my details.

So... you're friends with m dad?! I didn't know that! :P
And I will keep an eye out for the boxes... it's a bit of a relief - I'd been worrying they were going to leave them on the doorstep or something stupid like that. :)

I can understand your pain at having to work for Coles. I have been sitting here for at least five minutes trying to decide on which bit to moan about. There are just too many. I need to keep reminding myself that I have to get out of there if I wish to stay sane. Or the other fear is that I will revert to the maturity level of my fellow co-workers.
Our Christmas party is this weekend. I am refusing to go. I just can't understand with $10,000 to spend on the party why they have booked the cheapest restaurant in town? Even my partner refuses to eat there and he'll eat anything!
Ok, I think my rant is finished. Or at least I will save your eyes and rants at the dog and cats about work.

Oh, I know. I've been there for seven(!) years, and I keep saying that I have to leave, but nothing else has turned up in the meantime. I should probably work on this whole "being proactive" thing, though... :)
But this was definitely my first and last Christmas party. Ever.
And that restaurant sounds terrible... worse than our scout hall and spit roast arrangement. Bah. Stupid Coles.
And no, feel free to rant about Coles anytime. You'll get nothing but sympathy here... :)
