Props to New York's next governor, Eliot Spitzer. Spitzer, the current NY Attorney General, has just given strong support to the legalization of marriage between homosexual couples. so i'm sitting on my couch in my living room, and i'm sweating crazily. my apartment is the hottest place in the planet, or so it seems to me. part of the problem is self-induced: i'm a huge fan of fish, and so i have several aquariums throughout my apartment. each of these adds to the relative humidity in my apartment. back east, summertime ( Read more... )

So, I haven't updated in a while. Things are working out pretty well for me at the moment. I'm out in Portland, and things aren't bad. I have a nice one bedroom apartment in the Hawthorne area, which is a cool place to be. Frenetic is the best way to describe things around here. My apartment is, well, quirky, but I like it. so, this thing is kind of cool - it is called a johari window. a person selects five or six adjectives from a list that said person feels are self descriptive. and then others go and select from the same list of adjectives, and one can then go to see if the person sees himself as others see him, or if the individual's sense of self is way off ( Read more... )
