but how do they know which comes first- either your last final or december 13th?? i am sure you will be fine. and if they do try to attack you can beat them up with a killer karate chop or something.

Do not worry, the university will not care unless you're not out by the latest possible date. We supposedly have these strict res-life rules, but they do NOT know your final schedule...so, yeah. You can lie if they decide to ask you (which they shouldn't, because they really don't care). My freshman year, I stayed 3 days after my last final.

To give a light-hearted anecdote, if you've been reading about my roommate, before she moved out, she "tattled" to Res-Life that I was having an overnight guest during Finals week (which is technically forbidden). I was all for getting caught and getting slapped with a violation, but my friend decided to find another place to sleep. If they were serious with their threat, I'm sure that Res-Life will knock on my door at 2 AM to check. Part of me wants to say "What are you talking about? I wasn't going to have any guests this week. She's a LIAR!"

And coming to your room and finding everything gone is so much FUN! I promise! Trust me on this one.
