In your introduction, you describe what I have been hoping for as well many times. When I do something, especially something new, I look forward to the changes that will hopefully happen to me and to the things I do.

I really like your choice of words, especially in the third paragraph.

Yes! I also love looking back on seemingly insignificant moments in my life that turned out to be a really momentous thing that completely changed the course of my life for the next little while.
