i want you to know that i read you entire last entry and i had a whole long comment typed out then my internet shutoff. i felt like i couldnt retype what i had, it didn't seem right and they were different words than the first. when something is good the first time i don't like changing it. but, i really still want you to know, so here's a shorter version. i obviously didn't know what a lot of it meant, though i can understand some. but the fact that you can talk about any of it puts you far ahead of me. far, far ahead. i don't even know where or how to begin to know you better which frustrates me. i wish i could have told you this in person and more thoroughly but i barely ever see you.

I've read Catcher in the Rye two or three times. I've heard a lot of people call it a whiny, angsty teenager novel, but I totally didn't think so. I love Salinger's style of writing and especially his way of writing dialogue and emphasizing certain syllables. His short stories (Nine Short Stories and Franny and Zoey) are amazing, too.

I bought a copy of Catcher in the Rye and never read it again (I only buy books I've already read). A few months ago in school there was this donation care package thing for the American Troops, and I put it in the care package and wrote a little message on the inside front cover saying how it's such a good book and to please pass the book to someone who will like it. I hope someone read it, and thought it was nice that some random girl wanted so badly for someone else to feel something.
