I'm reading Rebecca, it's really good. I'm a little mad I didn't finish it before the new year. Like every year, my goal is to read the books that I own. Also read more books that aren't in my usual genres and read more books from my own country.
I read Jamaica Inn last month which was my first foray into Daphne du Maurier and absolutely loved it, so I’m hoping to get through the rest of her bibliography including Rebecca next year.
After seeing it as a option on ONTD’s best of 2024, I’m gonna start Paul Tremblay’s Horror movie. I really liked “A head full of ghosts” so I have ~expectations.
Thank you inkstainedlips for all the book posts ♥ and Happy New Year!
I am halfway through Duma Key at the moment but I am struggling a bit. I love Stephen King but there are some of his books that just don't click with me, and I think this is one of them.
I've been reading a lot more since I got my Kindle. It's just so much fun; I completely forgot how much I enjoyed reading, and it's a nice break from the computer. Right now I'm reading Josh Malorman's "Malorie." Thank you so much for these posts OP because I have a lot of good books on my "for later" tab for my library that I learned about though these posts, and I'm slowly making my way through them.
Getting a Kindle was such a game changer! I always loved to read growing up but I never really found the time after college. But now the Kindle makes it so easy. I read 95 books this year (a new record for me!)
