Aww congrats on ms Emma, she is so cute! I would love to have a kitten they are just so cute, but Ive never had good luck with cats they seem to just not like me.=[ Texas Road House is amazing in my opinion - i could eat there everyday lol I hope you like it when you finally get a chance to go. Also good luck with your promotion i hope everything works out.

Thank you! I'm really looking forward to eating there, everyone says that if you like Outback you'll love Texas Roadhouse, so I'll let you know how it goes :P Thank you, I hope everything works out, too.

I love that she's hugging the white one, haha. It makes my heart melt.

sosososo cute!!! definitely don't have her declawed. i've had cats my whole life and my mom always says that after you declaw them, their personality changes completely. :(

See? I really don't think that it's a myth. I think the part about it being the equivalent of cutting your finger off is a far stretch, maybe the equivalent of cutting your fingernails off. But neither of those sound appealing to me.

yeah definitely. we got our cat in june and didn't get him declawed and besides the occassional scratch on us its never been a huge problem.

and if you do end up getting her declawed, only do the front ones. they use the back ones to climb stairs and stuff.

I think we might end up doing the fronts, I would never do the back especially in case she ever escaped from the house, she would be defenseless. But I'm starting to worry about her clawing at Gavyn when she gets bigger, and I'd rather do it now instead of later, because it'll probably affect her less as a kitten.

Have you ever heard of those plastic claw covers? My friend Sam has them on her cats, they're sort of these little rubbery tubes that you put over the claws so the cats can't damage anything with their claws but can still use them for litterboxes and stuff.

Yes, I think they're called Soft Paws. I was considering getting those, but I've had mixed reviews. Online everyone seems to say that once the kitten gets used to them they are great, my sister said that her kitten ripped them off, I don't know. We're going to see how she does without, if she starts to scratch we'll try that out (they're like $20 for a pack that lasts about 2 months), and declawing is the absolute last resort. Hopefully we'll be able to train her. As mean as it sounds, spraying her with a water bottle is probably better than declawing her and taking away that security blanket that we call her claws.
