Welcome, one and all, to my journal and being my friend. I'ma gonna put a little bit about me under the cut and a few questions for all of you so I can get to know you better!
I'm glad to have so many new friends! It makes me quite happy. I feel like I'm like really getting to be part of the fandom now!

2) LotR made me happy. And of course Harry Potter is like amazing. I insisted on bringing all of them to my dorm even though it took up WAYTOOMUCH room in my trunk.
3) I was totally Elizabeth in my highschool play Pride and Prejudice. I had a crush on Mr. Darcy. It was my first kiss!
5) YAAY FOR KNITTING <3 I'm totes working on this really awesome beanie. I wish there was knitting in Merlin so I could geekily knit Merlin things. Like how I geekily knitted Gryffindor socks and Slytherin hats and scarves.

movie-accurate Harry Potter scarves are ridiculous. But I can't really do movie-accurate. It's not cold enough for that here ):

1) Favorite band or song? Avenged Sevenfold and Say Anything are probably my favorite bands.
2) Favorite book/author? Christopher Moore! Everything he writes. <3 There's a book by him (Fool) that I've tried to read a few times and never made it very far, but I'm finally getting into it by reading it when I'm at the gym, so I'll finally have read all twelve of his books.
3) Favorite time period? I'm not big into History, but I do want to take a class that's something like world history up to the 1300s or 1600s if they ever offer it at a good time at my campus. So I like the really early stuff, ancient greeks and romans and egyptians, and I'm big into the King Arthur thing because of Merlin, so his time period would be fun to learn more about someday, too. Otherwise I'm more of a science person.
4) Location?~ California.
5) Anything else that you think is interesting~ Umm. I'm doing Big Bang, too ( ... )

1) I like a few Avenged Sevenfold songs! Say Anything is DEFINITELY one of my favorites, I can't believe I forgot to put them! I just saw them with MCS at the last show I went to. The show was crazy intense and I was at the barrier @__@
2) I may have read something by Christopher Moore, not sure. I will have to investigate.
3) Hmm, Ancient Greece/Rome/Egypt is like my favorite. It got me into History! But I've gotten really into European history more recently, because of my Western Civ class and Merlin . . . I mourned not getting into the medieval class ;__;
4) California! My step-dad lived there. I get to go for the first time when he comes back from the Middle East. I'm excited, I've never been farther west than Alabama.
5) Yaay for writing lots of words on a deadline \o/

1) Avenged is great. Which songs do you like? :D
2) He's very funny. If you haven't read him, and you like funny, then you should. :D
3) My mom took an Arthurian Legends class when she was in college. I'm so jealous of that.
4) Oh, neat! Are you going to southern California? That's usually where people go when they visit. xD Hopefully you'll like the weather! Weather over here's pretty nice. The humidity in the south killsssss me. D:
5) xD Yes, yayyy! Do you have an idea for yours?

1) I was listening to Franz Ferdinand on the way to class the other day! =D
2) No, that is not sad at all. *stares at all of the books on her bookshelf sitting next to all of the movies*
3)Oh fun fun fun! Archaeology seems really cool. But I think that involves geology and science. As mentioned above--I can't do science. I am definitely more right brained. Science and math elude me.
4)I have not seen Torchwood yet! It is on my Netflix queue. You get cool stuff filmed near you! I had . . . a movie about American football filmed near me. And, uh. Another movie about American football filmed near me. Lame.
5) Yaay for art! I actually haven't drawn anything Merlin yet. And I need to. But I'll probably end up drawing Sherlock before then, because hi Benedict Cumberbatch's hair, I love you very much.

- All time: Savage Garden
- Currently: Probably Christophe Mae. I've got "Je Me Lâche" stuck in my head.
2) Favorite book/author?
- Favorite book of all time is "Into Thin Air" by Jon Krakauer (probably misspelling his name).
3) Favorite time period? (From a historical, political, idealogical, literary, whatever standpoint)
- late 1700s to early 1800s
4) Location? Not necessarily specific, just country
- American South
5) Anything else that you think is interesting
- I like to eat potatoes.

2) I have not heard of that either! I am going to look it up.
4) I am also in the American South! I am excited though because my Mom and Step-Dad are moving (a little) further North. Unfortunately, most of my time will still be spent here because of Uni.
5) I also like potatoes. I had mashed ones earlier today.

2. It's another older book. I think it came out in the 1990s as well. A couple of groups were climbing Everest around the same time, and Jon Krakauer went with one of the groups to document their ascent.
4. I saw that. I was thinking of using that for my interesting fact, but I went with potatoes b/c they're tastier. :)

1) Favorite band or song? Favourite band is an artist, just to be awkward - Tom Waits
2) Favorite book/author? bdjaskfks this is so difficult. At the moment, favourite author is probably James lee Burke.
3) Favorite time period? (From a historical, political, idealogical, literary, whatever standpoint) Oooh, that's a tricky one! Everything I start to suggest (like the inter-war era) I realise is probably due to books or films giving me a rose-tinted view of things.
4) Location? Not necessarily specific, just country~ England.
5) Anything else that you think is interesting~ I do not knit D: I wish I could, but I can only do plain stitch, can't even cast on. Ummmm..I fail at thinking of interesting things about myself, sorry.
Also, yay Dexter! I'm also really behind on the latest series though.

3) That is okay, I feel like every bit of History has a fictional tinge to it when we look back at it. Hindsight isn't always 20/20 when you have different people giving different accounts and fuzzy records and not knowing the reliability of the source, etc.
5) It took me FOREVER to learn how to cast on Dx And then I did it wrong for like a year. And there are multiple methods! And I'm like "whaaaaa" because some are just too complicated and I'm like, "nothx."
I've only seen the first episode of the new season, because I don't have Showtime at school and don't like torrenting or downloading things here. And then I just got caught up in Doctor Who and got distracted XD
