Woke up and forgot I had part of my head buzzed. TERRIFYING
This guy I knew in high school texted me in the middle of the night a few days ago saying he'd been meaning to tell me something for a very long time and if it was okay if he could say it. I didn't respond back.

There's a garage sale coming up next week so I've been cleaning out my room today in preparation. I have really awful legs
I'm ridiculously short, as if that wasn't a mark of doom enough, but I've also got scars galore-- the aftermath of mosquito bites from traveling and impatient scratching; eczema; a clumsy, active childhood. I envy other girls with gloriously clean legs. How is that even done? (I want to ask if they ever scraped their knees playing tag during recess ( Read more... ) -
Call me anything but late for dinner
Went to see a doctor this week for a very long and overdue checkup (last time I saw a doctor I was still in pediatrics). There came a point where she, the doc, needed to check my breasts, right. I have never been one of those people who are wildly happy and carefree on their birthday. The earliest birthday I remember is when I was either 5 or 6. Or, rather, what I'm doing for the ethnography I'm writing, which is sit in my car on Univ Ave and spy on the hookers and their pimps.
