I feel lucky and sad at the same time when i see the devastation in Lousiana, Mississippi and Alabama. New Orleans is 80% water. It's pretty sad. So many people cant get to their houses or around; roads are impossible to walk on or to drive. Aside from my usual dvds that I get for free from the public library, I recently subscribe to netflix. Word of advice to myself: Never ever leave home without some suncreen!!! It's a good thing I dont have a digital camera right now. The sight of my tomato red thighs will never make it to the cover of vanity fair. I'm thankful for aloe and A/C. :)

So the other day I ate at Pollo in the GC with my co-worker and we saw this guy selling used cds and bootlegs from live shows....there was a live show of The Cure that was playing on his cd player and I couldn't help myself...I had to approach the cd stand.
