How long does it take a girl to figure out that it's a bad idea to tumble from one ill-conceived relationship into another?

And don't tell me it's only until they end up in a good one, because I know from experience that's not true.

I also doubt this based on experience-- I don't conflate intelligence with wisdom. I've simply seen too many intelligent girls do this.

I didn't specify which kind of smarts, now did I? Book-smart folk are idiots, street-smart folk live longer (and have better sex).

I happen to think that the distinction between book-smarts and street-smarts is a false one.

There are educated people.
There are intelligent people.

Sometimes both the qualities are manifest in one person, most commonly they are not.

Still, I don't believe intelligence has anything to do with the observable tendency of some girls to always move from one relationship to another, with minimal time being single in between.
