FIC: "Body Language"

Pause for a moment.

Take away everything-the guitars, the drums, and the bass.

Leave only the voice there, and allow it to sing its own melody.

This is how I personally felt he sang at his best. With no underlying aggressive sounds in the background, you could hear his voice fully echo across any distance. It was a voice that ( Read more... )

Wow. Thank you so much for your comment. I had definitely been aiming for something like that with the 'pause' and 'resume'. I wanted everyone for just that moment to strip away the music and stage appearance to get a glimpse of how Kyo was as a man, and not just as the vocalist everyone sees him on stage as.

I appreciate what you said a lot. Thank you again!

This was completely amazing.
I was listening to 'Ain't Afraid To Die' as I started reading this, but I stopped the music after the third line, then continued when it ended. Result: hell yeah, musical orgasm! xD
I saw Diru live a few months ago, and (luckily for me I guess) I have always been very amazed about Kyo's voice; how it melts with his feelings, his emotions. Listening to the soul in his vocals instead of just his voice, just as this story says~♥
It was so utterly beautiful~

Ain't Afraid to Die was one of the songs I used with writing this, so I'm glad you were listening to it when you began, paused, and resumed it with this story. XD

I've heard so much about his voice, but I've never truly gotten the chance to experience it for myself. I really need to go to one of their concerts whenever they tour here again. Especially with what you say about how he sings. ♥

Thank you for your comment~. ^^

I'm so, SO glad that you enjoyed this, love. ♥

;o; I thought of you the whole time I wrote this. Just wondering what you would expect. Because you love Die so much, I put it into his point of you to try to get the best emotions out of him for you to read. I'm glad it's helped you to feel better, and I worked my best just for that. ^^

I love you too! I know it's a day late but still happy birthday!

This was amazing, totally. Kyo's character is so complex that it's a pity to see it often characterized too easily and put into an easy format kind of. You were describing the way he is, AND the way Die was finding his way to the truth, so hypnotizingly that I was captured completely in reading this. You simply left me in awe ;)

And I truly love you for mentioning Finland there XD A small thing, I know, but it made me smile.

Kyo's character is really complex. I really honestly was clueless on how to word him and it took me a long while to finally find a way to slowly describe him as best as possible, especially through Die's eyes. XD Wow, I'm surprised and happy to have done that! Thank you for your comment! m(_ _)m

And hehe, it was the first country in my mind! I'm glad it made you smile. ^^
