yes, miraculous, I almost disappeared, and then one night, as I was trying to outlast Grandma's insomnia (ok, not insomnia, it's only 10:12), I updated. I can't even remember where I was when last I updated, I think I was trying not to go into detail about the injustices I suffer when I live at home at the hand of my mother and sister. UofC won't consider a sibling who is still depedent on the parents of one of their students in their financial aid decisions. Therefore, they are not going to give Deb less aid than last year because as far as they are concerned, despite the fact that Mom and Dad would have two students in college to pay for and I haven't actually had four full years of college. Apparently, the only important thing to them is that I have a degree, not that it is actually one that will be useful to me in my chosen career, which is why I'm disgusted with their rules.
