reminds me of asianpunkboy stuff. though as far as i remember his work never specifically invoked female clients. also similar to alice as cake in the video for tom petty's "don't come around here no more." what would be better is if the skirt of the dress detached for picnic use, leaving a shorter skirt in which the wearer may picnic. nevertheless, as it is it's great for any society-minded drag queen.
exactly. a detachable outer skirt revealing a short, fun inner skirt and yielding the perfect picnic blanket would solve this sadian problem of the picnic-twined picnicker.
okay, ideologically, terrible. so easily critiqued id like to believe its satire. but i still would kind of like to wear it. maybe not to a picnic. i just like gingham and kitch.
i dont think anybody does, really. self-sacrificing is a great way to become resentful and a crappy way to earn love. i think lots of people still want that 50's housewife taking care of them, and the myth of the mother-figure who feeds you, from her own body (yes you know what i mean), but who wants to -be- her?
