I took Weedy to the vet's today for her annual checkup. I also voiced concern as I had noticed her having some stiffness in her back legs after our daily walks, so I wanted to have some x-rays done

Moose has hip dysplasia issues, too, and I wonder how much pain he's in vs. how much he shows. I watch for little cues, like how he holds his back legs... it seems like the closer his back feet are together, the more discomfort he's in. (That's something my parents' vet told them about their dog Becca, who's got major arthritis problems.)
I hope the supplements and therapy help her! Moose tends to show more pain in the colder months, so he gets supplements then. I'd love to find a combination supplement/pain reliever to give him, too. He's so gimpy on super cold mornings. :(

Poor thing! I hope they make a Doggie Version of "Move Free" (Glucosamine Chondroitin). It's a dietary supplement i take for my arthritis.
