After reading Mace's entry about grad school, I am worried too. I haven't much looked into the GREs yet (I have an MCAT prep book, but at this point med school is kinda eh almost out of the option pool), and I don't have a ton of research experience. I'm sorry Olga! Didn't want to make other people worry. Don't you have a lot of research though? You've started working since high school too! And I think the fact htat we've worked at NIH really helps. Ex. even here, when I was interviewing for a UROP (internship thingy on campus) the professors and post docs I talked to were all like WHOA NIH! so tha'ts a good thing.

oh no please don't be sorry, I need a good kick in the rear because I haven't given this mich thought. yeah, NIH is nice, we're very lucky =) I have some research but not a lot, and none of it really my own. And I've just found out that I need on-campus research to get into the biochem honors program.

Good luck with everything, I hope you figure everything out. Maybe if you don't like medicine you'd be more into dentistry? More money, less schooling, and prestige.
