My HK crib

It's been a long time since I posted. Been finding it hard to find an internet connection, and even harder to sneak some time off to use the office's internet PC. Anyway, this is the start of my fourth week in Hong Kong :) I still can't speak Cantonese though :p but I've done some nifty stuff like taking a survey to 100 salons in Mong Kok and ( Read more... )

It is :) and i have a great view of the main street of Causeway Bay :D plus, if you look at the window, you'll see an advertisement banner covering my view. Actually, it prevents other people from looking into my room, but I can see the outside very clearly :)

Plus, they have a gym room (with only some treadmills and bicycle-exercise things) :)

I'm on the sixth floor :) Hahaha, and my place has a McDonalds, KFC, a supermarket, a bookstore nearby。

Oh, and also Times Square and Sogo :D hahahaha :p

hahaha, its quite neat living alone, but im now so much more careful not to get my white socks dirty (cause they are hard to clean), and my forks/spoons/plates too greasy :p

Everything you take for granted at home basically :p

And yes, we're old...and it's already the end of the undergrads first sem!!!! waaaaah!!!! :p

I super miss home din :) Hehe, i miss home cooked meals, and someone to do the laundry :p But it really feels empowering to know that you have done your own laundry :D

What I don't miss is the daily dose of bad news from our country :( All the TV channels in Hong Kong are quite responsible over their materials. They don't bombard you with non-stop commercials, the news reports stick to news (and do not focus on scandals over a celeb's life), and they have a lot of public service announcements (like weather, landslides, and holiday announcements)
