Dog training woes
I took Darla for a walk after work last night. When it is just me, I've been using the prong collar. She's very intimidating because she is a 100-pound german shepherd. I use the prong collar mostly so that she can't get a good jump on me and pull me around. We tried the halti, but she panicked too much with it on and was a master at slipping out ( Read more... ) -

I only walked 2 miles home before Andrew came looking for me. Somehow he imagined that I would make it home in 40 minutes. He picked me up after 36 minutes of walking. But, it was ok because it was so nice that we took the dog for a walk as soon as we got home. So, my total for today is 4.75 miles! :) -

Work is crazy busy. I'm just taking a few minutes to organize my personal life to-do list and then I'll get back to writing like crazy.
This weekend, I will accomplish:
1. Schedule an appointment to get my bridesmaid dress altered. Ooh Monday at lunchtime.

We took Darla to petsmart to be groomed last night. She did wonderful, but she was still a little wet when she came home. And, she smelled how I remember my grandma smelled. Whew, at least we know we won't have to deal with the dog stink all of the time ( Read more... ) -

Random things before the hockey game
I'm still stressed at the moment. But, I had a good cry on Wednesday, and I'm starting to feel a bit better. I've been relaxing this weekend by watching hockey, watching the Masterpiece Theater Sense and Sensibility and singing karaoke. I also recently snapped at my mom, but at least she took the initiative and made her own resume! And e-mailed it ( Read more... ) -
Vacation?
Andrew and I booked our flights out to Milwaukee. Now, I just need to make sure my passport is still good so I can plan the trip to Vancouver. -
