Had "chinese" food from a new place last night. I asked for brown rice and was told I could get it. My sesame chicken (icky) arrived accompanied by a little while cardboard box full of white rice that had been perhaps fried in some thin brown sauce (it wasn't just soy sauce, not salty enough).

Rice that is brown. Brown rice.

I forgot to note that Jame's drawing is suddenly different. I hate letting the kids paint. They are 3 1/2 and 1 1/2. I hate the anticipation of the big mess to clean up when they are done. I hate cleaning up the big mess. Sick. Sore throat, stuffy head, fever, aches and pains, the whole kaboodle. At least I'm not hacking or vomiting. Everyone has it. Ick.

Dosing everyone with vitamin C and trying to rest. Hard with children so restless at night. I am so glad we've never been sick all at once before. Must try to avoid in the future (hah!).
