Moving Saturday. A terrific friend volunteered to drive our truck down for us (!!) so Jason and I can drive down together. We watch movers pack the truck on Saturday, then start the drive Sunday morning. We will be rolling into Nashville (hopefully) around noon on October 2cd ( Read more... )

Today we saw two fighter jets. They made about a dozen circles around south Nashua. They were extremely loud, and James and Abby (and some neighbors) and I sat outside and watched them until they flew off. Excitement!

We have been talking about moving for a long time. But now we are moving! I am actually getting estimates from actual movers. We have so much stuff to do that I might explode from the stress. Got 10 inches of hair cut off for Locks of Love. Then I got another two inches of trimming, and about another inch of layering. (Layering. Bleh. Trendy.) My hair is now a little longer than chin length, and I'm thinking of committing to a perm. A loose spiral wave. That would bring my hair up around my ears. Thoughts?

Abby is 2 this month. She is past (thank God) her "I hate everyone but Mommy" stage. She is still wary of strangers but enjoys being with her grandparents (especially Granddaddy!) and Daddy.

Abby shows a strong new desire assert herself. She is always telling me "No Mommy! I do it!" and will almost always cry and sometimes tantrum when thwarted. ( Read more... )
