Go to the doctor. I've had a lot of sinus infections over the year and it probably won't go away if over the counter meds haven't helped at all. Especially if it's not helping with the pain. Going to the doctor will be way better than being miserable for the weekend.

I've decided that sinus infections are no fun at all. I actually got my first one EVER this year...that's something I could have happily done without!!

Yeah, they suck a lot. I usually get one every couple of years and they always are just sucky. Lucky that you've only had one ever though, that makes it possible that you won't have another for 23 years! :)

unfortunately, this is #2. But I'm going to keep my fingers crossed...so maybe I won't have to deal with this again until I'm 46!! :)

hi!! i did indeed get a prescription for antibiotics, so yay for not being miserable this weekend!!

So I'm a little late in the game on reading the journal entry. But yes, I'm very glad you went to the doctor. You needed antibiotics to really cure it. Nothing over the counter will get rid of it. Over the counter products are only able to "help" with symptoms. So I hope the antibiotics will get you back to feeling better soon!

yes, and unfortunately, the over-the-counter stuff wasn't even 'helping' with the symptoms! stupid kids with their stupid germs!! they're EVERYWHERE!
