There are lots of bands who can make it work in the studio but can't hack it on stage. Death Cab for Cutie is not one of them!

Went to a fantastic show at the Norva with anann73 and editgrrl (admiralb was supposed to be there, too, but ended up having to work in NoVA). I am just impressed with DCFC to no end. The sound was mixed so it was loud enough without ( Read more... )

There's not really anything like that place in DC.

I'm still not 100% sure what "emo" consists of, but through daily observation of teenagers I'm fairly certain that emo="goth with less black."

But man the hair's bad. Yikes.
